To go on class field trips or volunteer in the school, you need to complete a police record check with the TDSB. This process takes a while so please consider doing it sooner rather than later.Â
For those who already completed a police check for Lanor, please submit your Annual Offence Declaration.

School photos are taken in October / early November. School photo Re-take day is mid November. The deadline to order your photos is about a week after photos are taken to get them delivered with the rest of the school. All students receive a free class photo. Photos were done by Clear Images.

As per the TDSB policy on personal devices:
Students in Grades 6 and Below
At minimum, students’ personal mobile devices are stored out of view and powered off or set to silent mode throughout the full instructional day, except when their use is explicitly permitted by the educator under the circumstances outlined above.
If an educator sees a personal mobile device that is not stored out of view, they must require the device be handed in for the instructional day and the device must be placed, by the student in the office.
Students in Grades 7&8

If the educator sees a personal mobile device that is not stored out of view, they must require the device be handed in for the instructional period and the device must be placed, by the student, in a storage area in a location in the classroom designated by the educator. Students who do not follow the direction of the education will be sent to see the principal.
Items found in and around the school will be placed in the Lost and Found, outside the main office. Small items, such as jewellery and keys will be kept in the office. We encourage you to remind your child to keep valuable items at home. In order to assist us in ensuring that your child goes home with all of their belongings, please be sure label all clothing that comes to school.
The staff parking lot on the east side of the school is for teachers & staff ONLY
The visitors parking lot is on the west side of the school off Lanor Ave.
"Kiss & Ride" drop off is on Sheldon Ave. This is a drop off zone and not for parking.
DO NOT park between the "No Parking - Bus Stop" signs in front of the office on Lanor Ave.
Student's use the 2 walk-in entrances to enter the school at the start of the day. DO NOT walk through the visitors parking lot đźš·.
